Depending on how you use FurSIGHT, we may collect the following personal data:

• identity and profile information such as your first name, middle name, last name, username, full name, and Google account profile details if you choose Google sign-in;
• contact information such as your email address, phone number, and delivery address;
• account and security information such as hashed password, email verification code, OTP code, OTP token, password reset records, and login session data;
• order information such as order number, ordered items, branch, quantity, amount, order status, and delivery details;
• delivery-related information such as rider name, rider contact number, courier name, and expected delivery schedule;
• payment-related information such as preferred payment method, payment status, checkout reference, payment provider, payment URL, and checkout session reference;
• wishlist, cart, saved address, reward, and wholesale request information needed to provide those features;
• feedback information such as product reviews, branch ratings, review comments, rating scores, reviewer name, and reviewer email;
• exchange, return, and cancellation information, including your reason and any uploaded supporting photos or videos;
• support inquiry information such as email address, phone number, subject, and message; and
• technical and usage-related information such as session information and browser-stored data used for cart contents, selected branch, login state, and checkout continuity.

2. How We Collect Your Data

We collect personal data when you register for an account, log in directly or through Google, verify your email, request or enter an OTP, request a password reset, save addresses, add items to your cart or wishlist, proceed to checkout, choose a payment method, place an order, submit a wholesale request, use rewards, submit a contact form, post a review or branch rating, request cancellation, exchange, or return, or upload supporting evidence.

We also use browser storage and session technologies to support essential features such as cart retention, selected branch, login state, and pending checkout data.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

We process your personal data for legitimate business and service-related purposes, including to:

• create and manage your customer account;
• verify your identity and secure account access;
• send verification emails, login OTPs, and password reset codes;
• process your orders, payments, cancellations, exchange or return requests, wholesale requests, rewards, and related transactions;
• coordinate order fulfillment and delivery;
• save your payment preference for future checkout convenience;
• send service notifications related to your account, orders, reviews, payments, exchanges, returns, cancellations, rewards, and wholesale requests;
• respond to support requests and contact inquiries;
• display reviews and ratings you choose to submit;
• maintain logs for security, fraud prevention, and operational accountability; and
• improve the reliability, safety, and functionality of our services.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We may process your personal data based on one or more lawful bases under applicable privacy law, including your consent, performance of a contract or service you requested, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests such as securing our platform, preventing abuse, and improving our services, provided these do not override your rights.

5. Payments and Third-Party Payment Provider

For online payments, FurSIGHT uses PayMongo for secure payment processing. When you choose supported digital payment methods such as GCash, Maya, or card, some of your payment-related information is processed through PayMongo’s systems.

We may receive and store limited transaction-related data such as payment status, checkout reference, payment provider, checkout session reference, and payment URL for order tracking and payment confirmation. We do not store your full card or wallet credentials in the same way a payment gateway does.

6. Reviews, Ratings, and User Content

If you submit a product review or branch rating, we may store and display the information you provide, including your name, rating, and comment. If you are logged in, your email may also be associated internally with the review or rating record.

Please do not include unnecessary sensitive or personal information in public review fields.

7. Exchanges, Returns, Cancellations, and Uploaded Evidence

If you request a cancellation, exchange, or return, we may collect your reason for the request. For exchanges or returns, we may also collect and store uploaded image or video evidence that you voluntarily provide to support your request.

These files may be stored in our application storage and used for validation, customer support, and dispute handling.

8. Contact Inquiries

When you contact us through the contact form, we collect the information you submit, such as your email address, phone number, subject, and message, so we can respond to your concern and keep a record of the inquiry.

9. Cookies, Sessions, and Browser Storage

FurSIGHT uses sessions and browser-side storage for essential functions. These may be used to keep you signed in, remember cart contents, remember selected branch and checkout state, and help complete payment or order flows.

FurSIGHT also uses CSRF protection and secure session cookies to help protect forms and authenticated requests. More details are available in our Cookie Policy.

At this time, based on the current project review, FurSIGHT does not appear to use newsletter subscriptions, CCTV monitoring, or advertising cookies in the customer-facing app. If these features are added later, this Privacy Policy should be updated accordingly.

10. How We Share Your Data

We may share your personal data only when necessary and only for legitimate purposes, including with:

• payment service providers such as PayMongo;
• Google, if you choose to sign in or register with Google;
• email or messaging service providers used for verification, OTP, password reset, and service notifications;
• delivery, branch, or operational personnel involved in fulfilling your orders;
• service providers that help us operate, host, maintain, or secure the platform; and
• courts, regulators, law enforcement, or government agencies when disclosure is required by law or lawful order.

We do not sell your personal data.

11. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to resolve disputes, to maintain security and audit records, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect our legal rights and legitimate business interests.

When retention is no longer necessary, we will securely delete, anonymize, or dispose of the data, subject to technical and legal requirements.

12. How We Protect Your Data

We implement reasonable organizational, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

However, no internet-based system or storage environment can guarantee absolute security.

FurSIGHT is intended for general users. If a minor provides personal data, such use should be done with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or data processing practices. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
